1. About Reel Odyssey
Reel Odyssey is a Singapore-based screen content company working across production, rights management, localization, digital distribution, and IP development. We work with brands, platforms, rights owners, agencies, media companies, and other business partners to develop, produce, adapt, package, and commercialize screen stories.
The website is provided for general business information, marketing, communication, and inquiry purposes. It does not itself create a client relationship, production agreement, rights management mandate, investment relationship, partnership, or other binding commercial arrangement.
Any actual services, deliverables, rights, payment terms, production obligations, exclusivity arrangements, ownership rights, licensing rights, or investment terms must be set out in a separate written agreement signed or otherwise accepted by Reel Odyssey.

- use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or deceptive purpose.
We may restrict, suspend, or block access to the website if we believe that use of the website violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights or security of Reel Odyssey, our partners, or any third party.
3. Website Content
The website may include descriptions of our services, business lines, market focus, creative approach, capabilities, team experience, case studies, sample concepts, visual materials, presentations, demo slots, images, videos, and other content.
Website content is provided for general information only. It may be updated, removed, revised, or replaced at any time without notice.
Unless expressly stated in a separate signed agreement:
- website content is not an offer, promise, guarantee, warranty, or binding commitment;
- sample projects, demo descriptions, mockups, concepts, or references are illustrative only;
- references to possible platforms, territories, formats, partners, brands, channels, investors, rights holders, or opportunities do not mean that Reel Odyssey has a confirmed relationship, mandate, license, or commitment with them; and
- market commentary, forecasts, trends, or strategic observations are not legal, financial, investment, tax, distribution, or professional advice.
You should not rely on website content as the sole basis for any business, legal, financial, production, rights, distribution, or investment decision.
4. Intellectual Property
The website and its content are owned by Reel Odyssey, our affiliates, licensors, partners, or service providers, and may be protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, database rights, design rights, and other intellectual property laws.
This includes our names, logos, marks, visual identity, copy, page designs, graphics, decks, images, videos, concepts, frameworks, trade names, domain names, and other materials appearing on the website.
Except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, display, publish, perform, license, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the website or its content without our prior written consent.
You may view the website and download or print limited portions of it for your own internal business review, provided that you do not remove proprietary notices or use the materials in a misleading, competitive, or unlawful way.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Trademarks And Third-Party References
Reel Odyssey, reelodsy, our logos, and our related names, marks, and brand elements are trademarks, service marks, or trade dress of Reel Odyssey or its licensors.
Other names, brands, logos, platforms, companies, services, channels, or rights holders referenced on the website belong to their respective owners. A reference to any third party does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, authorization, confirmed partnership, or commercial relationship unless expressly stated by Reel Odyssey.
6. Submitting Information To Us
If you contact us through the website, email, social media, or another communication channel, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.
Do not submit confidential, proprietary, commercially sensitive, personal, regulated, or third-party materials unless you have the right to do so and you are comfortable with us reviewing and using them to respond to your inquiry.
Unless we have signed a separate non-disclosure agreement or other written agreement with you, information submitted through the website will not be treated as confidential merely because you submit it to us.
By submitting materials or information to us, you represent that you have the rights and authority needed to provide them and to allow Reel Odyssey to review, store, process, and respond to them for business, evaluation, administrative, and communication purposes.
7. Project Discussions And Client Agreements
Any production, creative development, localization, rights management, IP investment, co-production, licensing, distribution, consulting, or other work with Reel Odyssey must be governed by a separate written agreement.
Separate agreements may address, among other things:
- scope of work and deliverables;
- fees, payment milestones, deposits, taxes, and expenses;
- production schedules, revisions, approvals, and delivery specifications;
- ownership, licenses, usage rights, territory, duration, exclusivity, and platform rights;
- treatment of concepts, scripts, footage, edits, source files, prompts, AI-assisted materials, and final outputs;
- third-party rights, including talent, music, stock, location, guild, union, publicity, privacy, and underlying IP rights;
- confidentiality, portfolio use, publicity, credits, and announcements;
- warranties, indemnities, insurance, and limitation of liability; and
- termination, cancellation, postponement, and force majeure.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separate written agreement signed or accepted by Reel Odyssey for a project, the separate written agreement will control for that project.
8. AI Assisted Workflows And Content Rights
Reel Odyssey may use AI-assisted tools, software, models, workflows, automation, or third-party technology in connection with ideation, development, production planning, localization, editing, visual exploration, post-production, research, rights analysis, or other creative and operational processes.
AI-assisted work may involve legal, creative, commercial, and technical limitations. The ownership, usage rights, clearance obligations, disclosure obligations, and permitted exploitation of any AI-assisted or AI-generated materials will be governed by the applicable written agreement for the relevant project.
AI-assisted tools are used to support human-led creative and business processes. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Reel Odyssey does not guarantee that any AI-assisted output will be unique, copyrightable, registrable, platform-compliant, or free from all third-party claims.
Human Review
Reel Odyssey's use of AI-assisted tools does not remove the need for human judgment, review, clearance, approvals, or legal analysis.
Clients, partners, rights holders, agencies, platforms, and other project participants remain responsible for reviewing and approving materials within their areas of responsibility, including factual claims, brand claims, usage rights, talent approvals, music rights, legal compliance, cultural sensitivity, territory-specific requirements, and platform requirements.
Client Materials And Rights Clearance
If you provide materials to Reel Odyssey, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, licenses, consents, permissions, and authority needed to provide those materials and allow Reel Odyssey to review, use, adapt, process, store, and work with them for the relevant purpose.
Client materials may include:
- scripts, treatments, prompts, briefs, decks, references, and creative direction;
- footage, images, photographs, audio, music, recordings, graphics, logos, fonts, artwork, and designs;
- brand materials, trademarks, product information, campaign materials, and corporate materials;
- catalogues, titles, show information, rights information, metadata, and distribution data;
- personal data, likenesses, voices, performances, names, biographies, and publicity materials; and
- third-party materials, stock materials, platform materials, archive materials, or licensed assets.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you represent that:
- you have the rights needed to provide the materials to Reel Odyssey;
- Reel Odyssey's use of the materials for the relevant inquiry, proposal, project, or mandate will not violate applicable law or third-party rights;
- all necessary talent, performer, voice, likeness, location, music, stock, brand, guild, union, moral rights, privacy, publicity, and underlying IP permissions have been obtained or will be obtained before use; and
- Reel Odyssey will not be required to obtain additional permissions or make additional payments unless expressly agreed in writing.
Ownership And Usage Rights
Ownership and usage rights for project materials and deliverables must be set out in the applicable written agreement.
Depending on the project, the agreement may address:
- who owns concepts, treatments, scripts, prompts, edits, footage, project files, source files, working files, AI-assisted materials, and final deliverables;
- whether Reel Odyssey assigns ownership, grants a license, retains ownership, or shares ownership;
- permitted media, platforms, channels, territories, languages, formats, duration, exclusivity, and paid media rights;
- whether rights are internal-only, commercial, broadcast, theatrical, OTT, social, digital, paid advertising, organic, festival, investor, sales, or portfolio rights;
- whether usage is limited by budget, project type, third-party clearances, talent contracts, music licenses, platform rules, or grant conditions;
- what happens to unused concepts, drafts, rejected ideas, working files, and pre-release materials; and
- whether Reel Odyssey may use the work in its website, portfolio, credentials, pitch materials, awards submissions, case studies, or showreel.
Nothing on the website transfers ownership of Reel Odyssey's intellectual property, workflows, methods, tools, templates, know-how, brand materials, concepts, or business materials.
Third-Party And Underlying Rights
Screen content often involves multiple layers of rights. Depending on the project, required permissions may include:
- copyright in scripts, stories, books, articles, films, shows, photographs, artwork, footage, animation, design, and other works;
- music composition, sound recording, synchronization, master, publishing, neighboring, performance, mechanical, and platform-specific rights;
- name, image, likeness, voice, performance, biography, privacy, and publicity rights;
- location, property, product, trademark, trade dress, and brand rights;
- stock footage, archive, font, plug-in, template, dataset, and software rights;
- moral rights, performer rights, guild or union rules, collective management obligations, and territory-specific obligations; and
- platform, broadcaster, distributor, advertiser, grant, sponsor, or co-production requirements.
Reel Odyssey may assist with rights strategy, clearance coordination, rights management, or licensing discussions where agreed, but responsibility for specific clearances must be defined in the relevant written agreement.
Synthetic Media, Likeness, Voice, And Deepfakes
Projects involving synthetic, AI-generated, altered, cloned, or simulated likenesses, voices, performances, identities, events, locations, brands, or real people may create heightened legal, ethical, and platform risks.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, you must not ask Reel Odyssey to create or use synthetic media that:
- imitates a real person, performer, celebrity, public figure, employee, customer, child, or private individual without appropriate permission;
- misleads viewers into believing that a person said, did, endorsed, or appeared in something when they did not;
- violates privacy, publicity, consumer protection, election, advertising, defamation, child safety, or platform rules;
- uses a third party's voice, likeness, brand, character, or copyrighted material without proper clearance; or
- would be unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or reputationally risky.
Some jurisdictions and platforms require disclosure, labeling, watermarking, provenance information, or other transparency measures for AI-generated or manipulated content. Responsibility for such disclosures should be addressed in the project agreement and distribution plan.
AI Training And Tool Providers
Reel Odyssey may use third-party AI tools, creative software, cloud services, production tools, editing tools, localization tools, analytics tools, or other technology providers.
Different tools have different terms for data use, confidentiality, retention, model training, output ownership, and content restrictions. Where a project involves sensitive, confidential, regulated, unreleased, or high-value materials, the project agreement should specify any restrictions on tool use, data handling, storage, confidentiality, or model training.
Do not send Reel Odyssey confidential or sensitive materials for an inquiry unless you are comfortable with us reviewing and handling them for that purpose or we have a separate written confidentiality arrangement.
No Clearance Guarantee Without Written Agreement
Website statements, portfolio materials, proposals, early concepts, sample visuals, pitch materials, and informal discussions do not guarantee that any content is legally cleared, commercially exploitable, copyrightable, registrable, exclusive, platform-approved, or suitable for a particular territory or use.
Clearance, rights ownership, usage scope, disclosure obligations, and risk allocation must be documented in a written agreement before content is publicly released, commercially exploited, licensed, distributed, or submitted to a platform, broadcaster, client, regulator, grant body, or other third party.
Distribution And Platform Rules
Different platforms, broadcasters, social media services, OTT services, distributors, app stores, advertisers, grant bodies, and territories may have their own rules for content, advertising claims, AI-generated media, synthetic media, music, talent, rights, metadata, subtitles, dubbing, localization, and disclosure.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Reel Odyssey does not guarantee that content will be accepted, approved, monetized, promoted, or remain available on any particular platform or in any particular territory.
Legal Review
Reel Odyssey may provide creative, commercial, production, localization, rights management, or strategic input, but we do not provide legal advice unless expressly agreed through qualified legal counsel.
You should consult your own legal advisers before relying on any content, rights position, AI-assisted material, production plan, licensing strategy, or distribution plan.
